The information below is intended for Kindergarten students brand new to Hoover City Schools.

Kindergarten marks the beginning of an incredible journey for your child, and we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for their growth and development. Now is the time to take the important step of registering your little one for the adventures that lie ahead. You’re encouraged to register now so you will receive communication from the school regarding upcoming kindergarten events!

To streamline the registration process and provide you with all the necessary information, we encourage you to visit our enrollment webpage on the school website. Please click here to be redirected to the enrollment webpage. Once there, scroll down to the PowerSchool Enrollment section, where you will find detailed information. This registration only applies to students going to kindergarten. Current Hoover families will receive information about returning student registration at a later date.

Kindergarten and New Student Registration 2024-2025
If your child is a new student entering Hoover for the 2024-2025 school year, complete the New Student Registration Form.

Required Documents for New Students

• Proof of residency (either a lease or recorded deed)
• Current utility bill (water, power, internet or gas)
• Birth certificate
• Parent/Guardian Photo ID
• State of Alabama ImmPrint Immunization Record
• Withdrawal slip from the previous school (for grades 9 – 12)
• Custody documents, if applicable
